WinChart Announcement - English

On Tuesday, the KLCI had its early losses, but soon finding its support near the 14, 21, 31 EMA dynamic support, and started to rebound, as indicated by A. At the close, the KLCI gained 2.95 points or 0.18% at 1664.90 points. Immediate resistance for the KLCI remains at 1668.

As indicated by B, total market volume fell 20.76%, with volume slightly below the 40-day Volume Moving Average. With volume below the 40-day Volume Moving Average, it suggests that the market is back in the quiet mood. Meanwhile, with the KLCI rising, and going to test the 1668 resistance, the lower volume is showing a divergence signal.

As indicated by C, the Stochastic is breaking above 70%, re-entering its short-term bullish territory. With the Stochastic above 70%, it suggests that the short-term movement of the KLCI is still positive.

In conclusion, with the KLCI rebounding from the 14, 21, 31 EMA dynamic support, the KLCI is set to re-test its 1668 resistance again. However, if the KLCI should break above 1668, the breakout signal would have to be confirmed by strong volume, or else, it would be unconvincing. Nevertheless, the immediate technical outlook of the KLCI remains positive.
