WinChart Announcement - English

As indicated by A, the KLCI opened lower, but still managed to close marginally above the 14, 21, 31 EMA dynamic support, gaining 1.59 points to close at 1635.04 points. Resistance for the KLCI remains at 1647.94 points.

As indicated by B, total market volume fell 19.16%, with volume below the 40-day Volume Moving Average. This suggests that the market activity was relatively lower, but it is rather normal, for the KLCI is still in its consolidation stage.

As circled at C, the MACD histogram ticked up a little, forming a Rounding bottom. If the MACD histogram should continue to tick up, it suggests that the KLCI short-term is picking up some strength.

In conclusion, the KLCI is still consolidating, while the uptrend is basically still intact. Therefore, the technical outlook for the KLCI is still on the positive side. If the KLCI could form Higher-lows, it would likely be testing the historical high of 1647.94.
